Agility arises from the realization of 5 important dimensions. If you follow these measures, an agile business organization is much easier to implement in your company. Or they manage to lead even more agilely.

With the help of procedure models such as Scrum, the customer can be presented with results more quickly and closer cooperation can be promoted. The high degree of self-responsibility that arises from this also promotes the commitment of the employees to achieve the best possible results.

Personnel Management & Management Instruments

In order to meet customer needs in the best possible way, the attitude of managers also plays a decisive role. Instead of exercising authority, an agile organizational structure requires completely different competences. It is not the teams that work towards the leader, but the leadership sees itself much more as a supporter. It therefore gives itself to the service of the employees in order to enable them to realize the best possible customer benefit. This also requires other management instruments. Leaders must learn to hand over tasks and responsibilities and transfer them to their cross-functional teams. This can take the form, for example, of greater involvement in recruiting processes or by transferring responsibility for employee development. So also more dialogue and feedback and less exclusion from human resource decisions. This is also the way to increase customer benefits.


Finally, the corporate culture also plays a decisive role for the agile organizational structure. Companies need to develop into greater transparency, dialogue, trust and the engagement to engage in constructive criticism. A promoted knowledge transfer instead of strict corporate rules, standard requirements and exclusion from decision-making processes. A reduction of safeguards, acting on an equal footing, respect and openness to change make it possible to react more agilely and adaptable to changing framework conditions.
